anxiety is not cured by forcing a person into the situation that makes them anxious
oh god, tumblr is going to hate me for this, but isn’t that exposure therapy? One of the best ways of curing anxiety without the need of medication? It’s very difficult right away, but gets better over time? Especially effective against anxiety disorders that are triggered by any kind of phobia?
Tumblr, please, just a thought! Oh god!…Also cognitive behavioral therapy is good too, but it also involves going into situations that give you anxiety..SORRY!
I just contribute this as a person that developed extreme panic disorder in 2010 due to PTSD to the point that it made my life unlivable, and I tried everything to try to fix it. Exposure therapy and cognitive behavorial therapy were extremely hard, but it made my life livable again!
